We use a custom-designed warehouse management system that records every movement, every pallet, every event and gives clients the same view our operations team uses. Each incoming pallet receives a unique number and barcode at receipt. RF handheld scanners are used at every subsequent movement (storage, relocation, picking, shipment) and each scan updates the inventory record in real time. With this system we ensure that traceability is continuous.
Automated reporting, routed to the right people.
The WMS issues five categories of report automatically:
- inventory lists
- entry notes
- delivery receipts
- production orders
- invoices
Reports can be configured to route to specific email addresses inside the client organization or wherever the data is needed. The client decides what is sent, to whom, and how often.
EU-compliant for the fresh-fruit market.
Pallet-level scanning is performed in accordance with EU legislation governing fresh-fruit traceability. Every scan is part of an audit trail that can be reproduced on demand for the client, for the regulator, or for the certifying body.
Quality control, embedded in the operation.
Karlos Enterprises has performed quality control on banana shipments for more than 35 years. Inspections are conducted by trained personnel using both subjective methods (visual and sensory) and objective methods (instrumented measurement). Detailed reports including pallet weight data are produced for every inspection cycle. Confidentiality is strict: reports are released only to the contracting client.
ISO & HACCP certified premises.
Our premises where surveys are conducted are certified under the latest ISO and HACCP standards.
