Port Procedures
Fast cargo processing from port to market
Karlos Enterprises provides a full range of value-added services at the Port of Piraeus, including physical inspections, customs clearance, cargo handling and freight forwarding. Our experienced team coordinates every stage of the import process to ensure your cargo is released quickly and efficiently.
Upon arrival at the container terminal, physical inspections are carried out in cooperation with customs officers, sanitary authorities and terminal personnel. Containers are opened, inspected, sampled where required and securely re-sealed before customs procedures are completed.
Cargo release
Once customs clearance is finalized, containers are promptly released and transported according to your operational needs.
Cargo can be delivered:
- Directly to your customers
- To another customs office
- To our customs bonded or duty-free warehouses in Aspropyrgos (approximately 40 minutes from the Port of Piraeus)
- Through same-day cross-docking for immediate redistribution

We also offer flexible cross-docking services, allowing cargo to be split, consolidated and redistributed to multiple destinations within the same day.

Following customs clearance, our fleet of commercial vehicles manages the storage, handling and delivery of palletized and loose cargo according to each customer’s specific requirements.
