The Main Gateway to Greece from Italy and Western Europe
The Port of Patras is one of Greece’s most important commercial gateways, connecting the country with Italy and Western Europe through regular Ro-Ro and ferry services. It plays a vital role in international road freight, serving as a key entry and exit point for cargo transported across the Ionian Sea.
The Port Authority of Patras provides modern infrastructure, cargo-handling equipment and customs services to support efficient import, export and transit operations. The North Port includes open storage areas for general cargo, while on-site customs facilities ensure the smooth movement of goods.
The port is also equipped with three weighbridges two in the South Port and one in the North Port for accurate vehicle and cargo weighing, supporting efficient logistics and regulatory compliance.
Patras is where the story of Karlos Enterprises began. Our headquarters remain in the city, and our long-standing presence at the port allows us to provide shipping agency, customs clearance, forwarding and logistics services, supporting customers with reliable solutions for domestic and international trade.
